Μπαχούμα Δέσποινα

Despoina Bahouma who graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2003, has almost 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical sector. She also holds a Master in Business Administration from University of Piraeus. Despoina Bahouma has an extensive experience in implementation of eQMS key processes, project management processes, standards and systems.

She started her career in the pharmaceutical industry in 2006 as Grants Management Officer at Pharmathen and worked as Research programs and Investment plans Project Coordinator between 2010 and 2013 in Research and Industrial Operations Division of Pharmathen. Between 2013 and 2017 she worked as Metrics and Reporting Senior Officer under Process Performance Management Department in Pharmathen.

In 2017 she joined Corporate Quality Management department of Pharmathen as Quality Management Senior Officer responsible for company’s corporate key quality processes. In the next years (2020-2023) she took on the roles of Quality Management Compliance Specialist and Quality Management Compliance Expert, managing the implementation of several modules of electronic Quality Management System of Pharmathen.

In early 2024 she took on the role of QMS Senior Manager, responsible for the oversight of QMS establishment and maintenance in compliance with current regulatory requirements and industry best practices. She also leads implementation of eQMS enhancements and strategic projects while she manages, coaches and develops a high performing Quality System team of 9 people.
