Konstantina earned a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Crete before pursuing an MSc in Applied Statistics at the University of Piraeus, where she deepened her expertise in data analysis and statistical modeling. Her career began with research and freelance work, along with administrative roles in project coordination and financial oversight, before transitioning into Financial Risk Management consulting. Starting as a business analyst, she advanced through positions at Deloitte and KPMG in Greece, working with major banks on credit risk modeling, regulatory compliance, and financial forecasting. Now a Manager in KPMG’s Financial Risk Management practice in Greece, she helps steer projects that support Financial Institutions in navigating complex risks. Her journey highlights the diverse career paths available to mathematicians, from academia to high impact roles in the financial sector.
