Δρ. Πανδής Κ. Παύλος

Dr. Pavlos K. Pandis, acquired his Diploma of Chemical Engineering (Integrated Master 300 ECTS) and his Ph.D. (supported by a 1st place national scholarship in Materials Science) at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). 

He worked from 2010-2012 in a research facility in Germany (EFZN, TUC) in the energy sector and totally he has participated for 14 years in research projects [(6) EU-funded programs and three (3) national-funded] with simultaneous free-lancing activities. In 2018, he co-authored a 2nd place awarded program called WHYMFC (https://whymfc.eu/) from GSRT in Waste Management sector. He is currently an associate researcher at NTUA, NCSR “Demokritos” and NKUA and has also served as an adjunct lecturer in NKUA and NTUA from 2018-2022.

His research interest activities number 34 journal publications, 3 Book Chapters, 41 participations in international, 22 in national conferences and his expertise involves materials synthesis for energy-related applications in the fields of (i) Nanotechnology, (ii) Heterogeneous catalysis, (iii) Fuel cell fabrication and operation and (iv) 3D printing. His expertise enables the flexibility of utilizing the inorganic and/or hybrid inorganic/organic (nano)materials in energy saving/harvesting, heterogeneous catalysis, coatings and environmental-friendly technology applications.
